Guest Lecture on the Mixed Solvency Concept to replace Harmful Organic Solvents in Anand College of Pharmacy

Anand College of Pharmacy, SGI, Agra organized a guest lecture on “Solids shall be alternate sources to replace harmful organic solvents in future’’ by Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Maheshwari, Department of Pharmacy, Shri G. S. Institute of Technology & Science, Indore on 13th December 2023. The guest speaker has over 34 years of teaching experience and has published numerous papers in international and national journals. The speaker shared his valuable research about replacing organic solvents with eco-friendly solid alternatives for solubility enhancement. Prof. (Dr.) Kashmira J. Gohil, Dean, of Anand College of Pharmacy welcomed the speaker and highlighted the importance of solubility enhancement in the pharmaceutical industry. More than 180 students attended the guest lecture and benefitted. The students and faculty members interacted with the speaker with great interest and enthusiasm. Prof. (Dr.) Gyanendra Kumar Sharma (CAC and HOD Pharm. Chemistry), Dr. Ritesh Kumar (HOD Pharmaceutics), and Dr. Manish Pal Singh (HOD Pharmacology) were present along with other faculty and staff members. Mr. Gurvinder Pal Singh (Asst. Prof.) and Mr. Vikas Sharma (Registrar) were the coordinators of the event.
