On the fifth day of the conclusion of the Orientation Program at Anand College of Pharmacy, SGI 3rd November, 2023, the first-year students of the B. Pharm, D. Pharm, and M. Pharm programs were accompanied by Prof. (Dr.) K. J. Gohil, Dean of the college and Prof. (Dr.) Gyanendra Kumar Sharma (CAC), for this spiritual visit to Raman Reti temple and ashram. The Dean, Prof. (Dr.) K. J. Gohil emphasized the importance of embracing knowledge from diverse sources and experiences and encouraged the students to approach their pharmacy studies with an open mind and a holistic perspective.

During the visit, the students had the privilege of exploring the enchanting surroundings of Raman Reti. The area is not only historically important but also ecologically diverse. As the students roamed the region, they encountered various forms of wildlife, such as deer, elephants, rabbits, and peacocks. The sightseeing of these animals in their natural habitat added an extra layer of enchantment to the visit. The students also enjoyed the prasadam served within the premises of the ashram. One of the most picturesque features of the area was the serene pond known as 'Sarovar.' This pond holds a special place in the hearts of the local people, and the students had the opportunity to witness its tranquil beauty.

First year class counsellors, Mr. Gurvinder Pal Singh (Assistant Professor), Dr. Harsh Bhardwaj (Assistant Professor) along with Mr. H. K Pathan (Assistant Professor), and Mr. Gaurav Singh Sikarwar (Assistant Professor) organized the visit, and accompanied the students on the trip.

In conclusion, the spiritual visit to Raman Reti was a multi-faceted experience providing students with a well-rounded education beyond the classroom.

Some glimpses of the visit are attached herewith.
