Students of Anand College of Pharmacy celebrated Christmas and New Year

Students of Anand College of Pharmacy organized the New Year Carnival and Christmas celebrations on 29th December 2023. The college was transformed into a festive spectacle with colorful decorations and twinkling lights, setting the stage for a joyous gathering of students, faculty, and staff.

The event featured diverse activities to engage everyone in the festivities. The food counters from students offered a delectable selection of Christmas treats and global flavors, enhancing the culinary experience for all. Classic carnival games with innovative challenges created an atmosphere of friendly competition, fostering a sense of togetherness among the college staff.

Faculty and staff members enthusiastically participated in games such as the lemon and spoon race, dumb charades, passing the ball, and the entertaining challenge of eating a hanging jalebi. The inclusion of faculty and staff in these games not only added a layer of camaraderie but also showcased the lively spirit of the academic community. Additionally, a treasure hunt added an element of excitement and intrigue to the celebrations.

During the festivities,  Prof. (Dr.) Kashmira J. Gohil, the Dean of the college wished everyone a joyous New Year and Christmas and encouraged the college staff to foster unity among diversity, cherish the bonds they share and look forward to the upcoming year filled with growth, success, prosperity, and academic achievements.

The team of Mr. Vaibhav Yadav (D. Pharm. II Year) won the food competition and the team of Ms. Ishika Yadav (B. Pharm. I Year) won the game counter. Dr. Ritesh Kumar (HOD-Pharmaceutics) won the treasure hunt competition.

Ms. Mansi Saraswat, Mr. Gaurav Agarwal, Ms. Mahak Mittal, Ms. Mahak Goyal, Mr. Harshit Agarwal, Ms. Radhika Sharma, and Ms. Niharika Singh (B.Pharm II Year) were the student coordinators of this event along with Dr. Vasundhara Saxena (Asso. Prof.) as the faculty coordinator.
