Workshop and awareness program on Organic Farming and Soil Health @AEC

World Soil Day, the Department of Biotechnology organized a Workshop and awareness program on "Organic Farming and Soil Health " exclusively for farmers of Agra-Mathura region on December 07, 2023.
The program unlocks the secrets of organic farming, from soil health to eco-friendly pest control. Farmers hear inspiring stories from experts paving the way for a greener future. 

Keynote speaker Mr. Rajesh Singh, Incharge Biofertilizer Unit from IFFCO Phulpur, Prayagraj gave a deep insight on usage of Biofertilizer and status of organic farming in India. In addition to this he also suggested various schemes that are running under the umbrella of GOI to promote organic farming. 

Md. Arif Assistant Professor Mechanical Engineering also gave his views on energy conservation specially in the village areas. 

Prof Pramod Gware, Prof Prakash Kumar, Prof N P Singh and Ms Vaishnavi  demonstrated the methods to prepare the Organic Manure from waste and discussed various methods to improve the soil fertility. 
The program was coordinated by Prof Pramod Gware and all members of the Biotech Family.
