Placement in Polycab India Ltd

Two students Rishabh Shukla and Vaibhav Tiwari (2021 batch) of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Branch were selected by Polycab India Limited Company in a selection process amidst the stressful environment of epidemic Covid-19. The selected students were given the post of "Graduate Engineer Trainee". 

On this occasion, Mr. YK Gupta, Vice Chairman of Sharda Group and Mr. VK Sharma, Executive Vice-President, praised and congratulated the students on their hard work during the time of this epidemic. 

The Director of Hindustan College Dr. Rajiv Kumar Upadhyay congratulated the selected students and told that Polycab India Limited is a leading brand in the field of electrical.  The 88 billion state PIL is the largest manufacturer of wires and cables in India and a fast-growing entrepreneur in the FMEG space.  PIL sells various types of cable wire, electric fans, LED lights and Luminary Switches, sets of pumps and accessories and Switchgear Solar Products to various public and private locations in global industries.  PIL has a strong pan-India distribution network of over 4000 authorized dealers and distributors which in turn caters to over 151000 plus retail outlets.  Business operations are managed through a Corporate office, 3 Regional offices, 20 local offices across India and 30 warehouses located across the country.  It has 25 manufacturing facilities including a joint venture located in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand and Daman district.  This company adheres to different national and international quality standards, emphasizing backward integration of permissions - development and manufacturing of R&D schools.  PIL has shipped goods to more than 40 countries over the year. 

More than 289 students of ‘Sharda Group Of Institutions’ of North India have been selected of the session-2021 in various companies. It includes the students of Hindustan College of Science and Technology, Farah, Mathura, Anand Engineering College, Hindustan Institute of Management and  Computer Studies. Major companies include TCS, Zaro Education, Jaminai Solutions, HCL Technology, Learning Routes, Capital Via, Virtusa Corporation Ltd. Infosis—Hackwithinfi etc. 

Till now 179 students have been selected from Hindustan College of Science and Technology of the session 2021. Out of which Comonwalt Systems Limited has selected a student on the highest of Rs. 20 lakh yearly salary package by "Software Development Engineer-TEST Profile". It was introduced in the month of July by the "Jamini Solusus Company" through a virtual selection process. 

On this occasion, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Dr. Richa Kapoor congratulated the selected students and said that both the students were hardworking from the first year, which got credit with this selection.  On this occasion, the teachers and staff, all the Deans, Head of the departments of the college, congratulated the selected students.
