One Day Workshop on Nanomaterials at HCST

Hindustan College of Science & Technology, Farah, Mathura a prestigious institution of Sharda Group of Institutions organized one day workshop on “Nanomaterial” under the auspices of Anand Swaroop Interdisciplinary Lab. In this workshop the main speaker was Prof. Boris B. Jentive, Director, National Centre for Biotechnology, Russian Academy of Science, Moscow, Russia.

In the beginning Prof. Rajeev Kumar Upadhyay, Director, Hindustan College of science & Technology welcomed Prof. Boris and all the participants and said that all the participants will be benefitted in the research field of nanomaterial.

Prof. M.S. Gaur, Dean, R & D of Hindustan College said that by doing research in this field we can convert knowledge of Goddess Saraswati into wealth of Goddess Laxmi, this is the need of modern research.

Main speaker of the workshop Prof. boris explained about the techniques for the preparation and testing of nanomaterials. He demonstrated that how Nano biosensor can be prepared by purifying Gilezi Carbon Electrode with the help of nanomaterial and its use in the detection of heavy metals. He also explained that the heavy metals are responsible for various diseases in our body.

On this occasion Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh, Asst. Prof. in Physics Department along with research scholars Ritu Yadav, Rohan Sagar and Mamta Kushwaha demonstrated the preparation of nanoparticle and nanocomposite thin film during the workshop.

In the end the conveners of the workshop Dr. Rajeev Kuamr Tiwari and Dr. Vinod Kushwaha have distributed certificates to the participants and said that all the participants must be benefitted by this workshop. In this workshop the participants from Sharda Group and from other institutions were trained.

On this occasion Dr. D.G. Roy Chaudhary, Advisor R & D, Dr. Harendra Singh, Dean Faculty, Dr. Sandeep Agarwal, Dean Student Welfare, all head of department, faculty members and staff were present.
