Placement in Hitachi Consulting @ HCST

In the various placement drives in SGI this year, more than 87 students of 2020 batch have been selected by renowned companies. Among the star performers Pankhuri Maheshwari was offered 6.5 lakh package p.a. by Hitachi Consulting Company this year. Out of 87 students selected in various companies, 51 students are from Hindustan College of Science & Technology, Mathura, 19 students from Anand Engineering College, 5 students from HIMCS and 12 diploma students are selected from HITM, Agra. Hitachi Company Limited having 89th rank in the world, was established in 1910. Its annual turnover is 96.2 billion dollars. More than 9,39,300 employees are giving continuous services to the company. Hitachi Consulting Company was established in 2001. The current turnover of the company is 700 million dollars. Currently more than 400 customers use the products of the company.Hitachi Consulting is the IT branch of Global Management Consulting and Hitachi Ltd., a global technology leader and catalyst for sustainable social change. It serves clients in more than 50 countries and provides consultation in other countries by nearly 65000 professionals of 21 countries at global scale. They operate across continents and have offices in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia - with global distribution centers in India (Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad), China (Gangaji) Portugal ( Lisvan) and the United States (Fargo, North Dakota College Station and Texas) to offer a global distribution scale. This year the students of SGI have been placed in some specialized companies like: Hitachi, Continuing Education, SEAT, Ginger Wave, Infogail, Jainpact and Indian Navy etc. On this occasion, Director Shri Rajiv Kumar Upadhyay said, "We are developing our students in soft skills, communication, cognitive and analytical skills and have a dedicated training development department to look into this aspect. Our placement team is keen on pursuing the right opportunities for students”. On this occasion, Mr. Y K.
