Valedictory Function of One Week workshop Induction/Refresher Programme on Energy Conversion Technology at HCST

Hindustan College of Science and Technology, Farah, Mathura a prestigious institution of Sharda Group of Institutions have organized one week induction/Refresher Programme on “Energy Conversion Technology” sponsored by All India council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) from 3rd to 8th December 2018.

Dr. Arun K Tripathi, Director General, National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) Ministry of New & Renewable Energy ( MNRE), Government of India, New Delhi was the Chief Guest and Mr. ArghyaSardar, Scientist E and Head, Transportation Division TIFAC, DST, Government of India was the Guest of Honour in the Valedictory Function of the Refresher/Induction  Programme. 

Dr. Rajeev Kumar Upadhyay, Director, Hindustan College of Science & Technology welcome the guests by giving bouquet and said that the purpose of this one week workshop was to make the participants aware about the energy conversion technologies existing in our country so that they can import this knowledge to their students. He also conveyed his sincere thanks to all the participants for the successful completion of Induction/Refresher Programme.

On this occasion Chief Guest Dr. Arun Kumar Tripathi, Director General, National Institute of Solar Energy explained the importance of conventional energy and said that we are using conventional energy since 1980. He also discussed about the big difference in demand and supply of energy in the country. He also informed the audience that at the moment the country is producing 73 Giga Watt conventional energy but the objective of the country is to achieve the target of 175 Giga Watt till 2022. He also told about the initiatives taken by Govt. of India for Perc Solar Cell Technology and Net Matrix System.

Participants Payal Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Lalit Yadav and Alok Pathak have given their valuable feedback and explained the importance of this workshop.

On this occasion Dean Student Welfare Dr. Sandeep Agarwal, Sri Anurag Bajpai, Sri Muneesh Khanna, Dr. Richa Kapoor, Sri PuneetMangla, Dr. Nishant Kumar Singh, Sri Sanjay Singh, Mr. Kapil Gupta, other faculty and Staff members were present.
