Workshop on Data Analytics @ HIMCS

The ability to organize, calculate and evaluate quantitative data is important skills needed today in many fields. Moreover, they’re commonly used in business and managerial decision-making, which means they’re extra-critical for those at the top. If you hope to advance to the C-Suite, or wish to climb the ladder, Excel courses are a must. . Employees with this skill are required from small companies to big International companies.

To equip our MBA students with such skills, a 30 Hours Data Analytics Certification Program using Advanced MS Excel was conducted from 3^rd December 2018 to 8^th December 2018 at Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies (HIMCS). The purpose of the program was to give students hands on experience of data analysis on real time data from stock market, industry’s sales report etc. The program was conducted in totally practical mode, where students were required to analysis the millions of data in few minutes and gather certain meaningful information by performing advanced level functions of MS Excel. Total 52 students of MBA program, successfully completed this program. It was organized by Mr Rahul Khandelwal who is working as Assistant Professor at our institute. At the end of the workshop students were awarded with certificates by Dr Naveen Gupta- Director HIMCS.
