Establishment of Innovation Council & of AICTE approved Training Programmes under PMKVY @ HIMCS

All India Council for Technical Education has sanctioned Technical Skill Training programmes to Hindustan Institute of Management & Computer Studies under “Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana” (PMKVY) for the following Training Programmes on;

1. Junior Software developer
2. Domestic Data Entry Operator

These short-term Training courses are for school dropouts, 10th and 12th Pass/failed students to enhance their existing skill, free of cost. Successful candidates will be given Job assistance and certificates The above Job oriented courses will be helpful for obtaining placement in IT sector throughout the Country and abroad.There are 25-25 seats for each course.

Secondly, Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies has been selected for the AICTE’s dream project, Institution Innovation Council (IIC).Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar launched the ‘Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)program under Innovation cellof MHRD in AICTE head quarter New Delhi. Dr. Naveen Gupta, Director  was awarded with IIC certificate in the event.  This newly established council at HiMCS would help in developing a vibrant local innovation ecosystem. This would develop Start-up/ entrepreneurship supporting Mechanism in the institute. The Innovation Council at HiMCS would work with the AICTE and MHRD team to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas while they are in formative years. The Innovation Council at HiMCS comprised of professors of HiMCS, leading industrialists of India, Intellectual Property Expert, Legal Expert, Finanacing Experts and students. This is one of the achievenment for Agra as it’s the only Management institute of the region which has been selected for this.
