Hindustan College of Science and Technology, the prestigious institute of Sharda Group, has been made the nodal center of Virtual Lab of Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. 

On this occasion, the chief guest was Mr. Tara Shankar, Senior Director, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and special guest, Dr.  Vipin C.  Shukla, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Virtual Lab is the flagship mission developed under the aegis of the National Mission on Education through ICT. 

On this occasion the Director of the HCST, Dr.  Rajiv Kumar Upadhyay thanked the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.  He welcomed Chief Guest Mr. Tara Shankar and Special Guest Dr.  Vipin C.  Shukla to come on the occasion.  He spoke about the benefits to the institute and its students from the virtual lab. 

Executive Director of the Hindustan College Dr.  DG Roy Chaudhary said that the establishment of a virtual lab will benefit the students greatly and will make the students' practical easier. 

Special Guest of the program, Dr.  Vipin C.Shukla, the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, spoke about the idea economy.  He told that if you have any idea then you can make it come into reality through virtual lab.  A virtual lab is 76 percent more effective than a real lab.  Virtual labs are cheaper than any other labs.  He also mentioned the remote triggered lab.  He praised Hindustan College and said that Hindustan College has taken a very good initiative  by adopting virtual lab, it will benefit the students .

Chief Guest Mr. Tara Shankar, Director, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, thanked the institute for adopting virtual labs, He described the benefits of Virtual Lab in cyber security and said that virtual labs will benefit from e-Aadhaar electronic farming.  He spoke about the funds of the virtual lab.  He also briefed about the work of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and told the students about silent courses.  He informed that through the virtual lab you can play with the system.  Virtual lab is a type of simulation lab that results the same  as the actual labs . 

On this occasion, Mr. Prateek Sharma from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, demonstrated the virtual lab live to the students.  They told  the URL  to run the virtual lab to the students 

The coordinator of this program was Mr. TSS Senthil, Head of Institute Industry Interfaces.  The program was successfully conducted by Sanjana Pradhan, a third-year student of the Department of Electronics and Communication and Tanya Pachauri, a third-year student of the Department of Biotechnology.  At the end of the program, the vote of thanks was proposed by   Mr. Mukund Lal, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication.  In the program, the Dean, faculty of the College Dr.  Harendra Singh, Prof.  V.  K.  Gupta, Dr.  R.  K.  Tiwari, first year coordinator Dr.  Suruchi, Mr. Shankar Thakar, Mr. Anurag Vajpayee, Mr. Munish Khanna, Mr. Pramod Kumar, Dr.  Richa Kapoor, Mr. Pankaj Khanna, all the teachers, staff and students / students of the institute were present.
